What do you think?

Well today i saw something very interesting, interesting enough that someone is willing to offer money for something that has already happen and cannot do anything about it. Let me give you an example of what i mean. Let's say for a second that you made a decision that you know it's something that you need, but you think that it could be a cost issue. So you say ok i'll go ahead with something that i am willing to pay because i don't see why it is important, because usually the idea is that deterrent will keep people on the edge that they are being watched.

Now here is the guy that did something, he stole an e scooter which might not cost that much, but if you use retail price to determine how much value was carried away. Then yes we should try to catch this guy for theft. But how to catch him, i'm guessing that there's no one in the shop at the time of the event. He saw an opportunity and ran with it. Thinking that it's going to be something that no one will even know about. But wait. he saw the camera when standing outside. He still do it. Why? Because he probably have nothing to lose? I don't think so, this probably not his first rodeo as a thief. That much can be established because he didn't do the grab and bolt move. He actually did it as if it's a normal thing. So the next thing to do is find out who he is. So as you can see there's nothing much to determine from the footage.... unfortunately. So the next best thing would be to offer money. Now you have to ask how much is good money for someone to scout for this guy?
So $1000 is offered and you must be wondering how much is that scooter? I have the same question. So i did some research, so the cheapest i get is $1248.9 and the most expensive is $1699. So the offer is actually quite generous considering the owner of the shop probably have more than just 10 scooter on retail at the point of time. And luckily this guy who is trying his luck does not bring any buddy along, just him and his cap and sunglasses. He didn't even wear his shades till he approach the shop. While scouting he actually took off his shades. Unluckily for the owner of the shop there's no way to determine his face.
While most will say solve the problem first, i think that's a good place to start. With why did the image so blurry? Would have solve the mystery quite fast if the picture was clear. But this just adds more work to the forensic people.
You probably watch this before in the movie that someone sitting in front of the monitor and clicking the computer away and voila!! you have a clear picture, and even see the reflection from the shades he have on.
Unfortunately that's an impossible feat .... i know. I tried it myself, pay someone to do it, pay a company to do it, pay a forensic expert to do it. When the expert say let me take a look, and then tells you directly that. Cannot be done. It means it cannot be done. So don't waste time. Because those people that gives you hope, the freelancers, the half cook expert, the i think i know, and alike. Will give you hope. And that hope is where your $1000 will become more than just $1000.

So the advice is get an expert in the first place.... start with the camera used to capture people in the first place. If that works then it should be just a peace of mind. And always remember to upgrade and maintain it. Because nothing last forever. You eat everyday, machine needs power, power creates heat, heat burns things off, somewhere somehow it will have a lifespan, don't expect 10 years and still kicking. Computer have a lifespan of 3 years now. Mobile have a span of 2 years. So you ballpark yourself what should be the right time.

above is a pervert who just molested someone and going out of a station.... now try and see if that looks like just about anyone with a blue shirt. Some innocent people might get hurt for releasing a blur image. imagine that.... and imagine that blur pictures have the same shirt you do. and you just happen to be there.... wrong time wrong place, the right height and color. Because they don't care if your hair is shorter or longer, they will still put you as suspect.
