Don't you just love your smart phone? Almost everyone that i know owns one, heck i own 2. Some people i know own 3 or 4 of them. I once ask an aged person (40 to 55) why would you want to use a smart phone when you have problem reading the sms? Here's the answer:
"Having a smart phone doesn't necessarily means that it will make me smart, but it will force me to be smart even when i don't want to. So even when i am not using everything that a smart phone is using, but i am getting everything that a smart phone can offer. The good thing about smart phone is when i'm overseas i can still read my email without my PC (He don't own a laptop even know that he is a millionaire, i know this is kind of hard to believe but it's true) and smart phone makes VOIP possible so it saves me thousands when i only have to pay for hundreds."
But the above is the good example of people who are willing to learn. Below are the few people (from the same group or older) and are using smart phone comment.

"What is this thing saying? come over and see what is wrong with this."
"Like shit (in chinese it sounded more better, KANASAI), i cannot pick up my call just now"
"Why the wording is so small on this? How can an old people read this."
So when i ask why use the phone when it's so hard to use? The replied....
"It's updated, and everyone is using it"
"Cannot lose face"
"I look cool with it, that's why i carry it in my hand everyday"
"I only need to pay little to get this, so why not"
This is also a comment from a millionaire that owns one (yes only one) smart phone which is pain in the ass.
Luckily most of them own an iphone only.... because i got worst comment for android (it's not that android is a bad piece of OS, i personally like it better than IOS. But that's just me and some few millions of people who own one and like it)
The reason i said that is because i have personally try to explain the way to use an android phone to a 45 years old business owner that just bought the phone because it's actually free from the telco. Amazingly he tried his best, i mean you can tell from the way he navigate. Comment for HTC sensation are as below:
"Why i cannot use my VOIP account?"
"Ok, my daughter help me install all this software so i can communicate for free. But i don't know how to use them"
"Besides making calls and sms. The email account is very hard to setup"
"I was trying to make internet calls using viber, but seems like there's some problem"
So the list is actually longer than this.... i took it off his hand at a reasonable price. I now own HTC sensation. And he is a happy owner of iphone. Honestly, the phone works better in terms of iphone, i didn't even have to download any VOIP software to make VOIP calls because it is actually build it to the dialer, how good is that? But of course technically you have to know what your doing otherwise you won't even get it to work the way you wanted it. The good thing about it is that it actually download the email or messages when the notification comes in, unlike iphone. But if we don't assume that we always have the internet connection at all times this is one of the function that really comes in handy.
Of course the smart phone are not just like that, instead it have so many function that it would take pages to finish. But this is not a comparison of smart phone, it's when smart phone fails in the eye of someone and succeed in another.
