Equal meaning to End of the World. The kind of movies that just doesn't get old. Find a way to blow the world up, and you got yourself a good movie as long as they are never been done before. A kind of theme that brings the world together. Reminds me of Micheal Jackson's last movie "This is it", the world number one icon died while resting with monitoring device attached. When the movie was shown to the world (directed by Kenny Ortega), everyone was in tears, feel close to him, will not take their eyes of the tv/computer screen, inspired, touched, and sad. Feels like end of the world for some...
From the beginning of Movies, it was speculated that the movie "The Great Train Robbery" (1903) was the first ever full length movie to suffice in mankind. But before that there are already short clips which last about 20 minutes and so being previewed to the public. These 2 fellow (Louis and Auguste Lumiere) even patent the idea called cinema which back then they are called "Cinematography" but then again there are a lot of speculation that runs around to claim who are the first person to show the first movie or clips.
"The Great Train Robbery"
Now throughout the years movies have gone berserk, weird, touching, imaginative, impossible, romantic, scientific, fiction, based on something (novel, true story, video games, and many more), horror, ghost, killings, the list will go on as long as creativity is concern. But putting the world at the brink of light, almost crushed, almost wipe out, but suddenly it is saved be it a gesture of sacrifice, tense room decision, taking responsibility to oneself (when at the first of the movie a jerk character is displayed), love, parents devotion, a sudden turn of events, and the infamous nobody who turn hero character.

10. Doomsday
The reason this movie made it to the list, well it's basically because i cannot put all movies with is going to end the world in the list, and this movie have 1 thing which others might be lacking SEX APPEAL. The way that people die and the survival of the fittest comes in play. Don't you just wish it was like in the movie no school, and the only job you need to focus on is survival. And on top of that you can paint your face and body any color you want. The movie doesn't show cast any children which makes me wonder where the heck did all those 16 years old in the background comes from (yes watch the movie carefully there are young lads in it not just adult)
9. War of the Worlds
The dynamic of putting a famous director and an amazing actor together makes this film a possible. Anyone else would have flunk it so fast we won't even see the cover. Yes the infamous invasion of aliens taking over the world, and then died of a simple flu virus, yes the micro organism which was displayed in the movie looks like a flu. I might be wrong but it could be H1N1 before it became H1N1. So the nuke almost killed everyone and realistically speaking, a lot of people should be dead from nuclear poisoning but they didn't. There's your turn off. A good movie indeed only possible with these 2 folks.

A movie that tells us that if your not clever, you could be left in the street when this happen. Very good motivation for children who doesn't want to study. Apparently only these are the important people

6. Armageddon
This is one of those movies that you just want to go back home and say i love you dad after coming out from the cinema. Except your dad is not Bruce Willis. This is the kind of movie that reminds me of BP disaster, some oil rig worker, saving the world. Only with BP it's some Plumber saving their ass, can't help but wonder what the f#ck does all those brain with money doing? They go to school and hold some big post (big money included in the package) but cannot solve oil spill when they are in the oil business. Keep this in mind, for the next 10 years sushi will taste like diesel thanks to BP. Lets hope there is an end to that SAGA. Ohh this might sound very conspiracy in a way, but some speculate (i heard it from a distance friend) the BP disaster was stage to hold the world together and forget about Financial Crisis but focus on matter at hand. It could be a coincidence but in a psychological way this are very true. As the saying goes "The pain will go away, once there is a bigger pain"
5. Terminator
These are one of my favorite movies, yes there are series, on going movie series. but the first are always the best. I learn my first Spanish word in this movie, and i'm sure everyone as well. "Asta lavista, baby". Classic. The legacy of John Connor twist and turn as the movies are being produced. Even the actor change course in becoming a senator. I think that kind of end Terminator career in a way.
4. The Day After Tomorrow
These are one of those movie that just put you and your girlfriend more closer when your watching the movie, so make sure you watched it with a girl she might become your girlfriend at the end of the movie. I can't say this is what global warming looks like, they say it's a reset but the world is getting hotter and hotter by the day not cold from observation. Hopefully i'll live long enough to edit this post when that happen and the internet is still around by that time.
3. Independence Day
This is one of the all time favorite movies, alien invasion. Touching movie really. And the best part is AREA 51 exist. It just puts all the speculation into perspective. The catch, you have to produce an alien make sure it is asleep then go there and show them to get into AREA 51. No photo or anal probe would do you any good.
2. I Am Legend
Amazing how Will Smith just keep popping up in movies that has end of the world stamp on it. This has got to be the most revolutionary movie that budget and quality comes together. 1 hour of him walking his dog. the rest are just computer generated or short clips.

Now we have reach the number 1 movie of Dawn of the world, and yes 2012 or precisely December 21 2012 ( i know i won't be able to celebrate my birthday as the world ends 1 day before it but i pray there is a delay) are one of the movie that catches the eye of everyone as this movie is based on 12 prediction, imagine that 12 prediction which says in 2012 the world is going to end. Even know there has been a lot of prediction that Y2K was the end of the world or chaos as we see it should have end the world by then but seems like there is nothing wrong with Y2K, but they still say there is something to it. Scientist....
Now in 2012 the world end in a very brutal and scary way. Amazingly the Chinese are the only population which is the majority. Yes Beige sure is going to happen after the world ends. Lets see if any of this going to happen.
Conclusion : The world ending is sure a spirit bonding experience. If everyone knows global warming is true, picking up the rubbish and throwing it into the bin sure won't help it. In my personal scientific opinion, i would say it's not going to be as previewed. You look at all the natural disaster that happens, one thing differ from the movie. Yes people die no doubt about it, but no one knows what is happening in the real world. If you think about it. Recession is man made, oil spill could be man made, a nations leader being brought down to its feet definitely man made, terrorism speaks for itself, piracy is just the same as human cloning everyone is against it except the one doing it, and the famous scandal which surface at the right time every time. These are the things that is controlled by man, possible by woman as well. Being it a gesture of human trying to weed the existence out of another, when disaster happen it brings people together again. The cycle seems very obvious, someone is toying with our feelings here. Until one day, The world comes to an end and break that cycle. Cherish your love one while you still can.
